Their unbelievably high energy shows have resulted in highlights such as performing at T in the Park, The Edinburgh Hogmanay Street Party the biggest new year celebrations in the world and at various events to mark the Olympic Games in London. House of Lairds were absolutely incredible at our wedding last weekend. They took requests and kept the dance floor full all night long. We couldn't have hoped for any more, they were fantastic!
Collin and Leah - Wedding Website - Wedding on Jun 15,
I just wanted to take a moment and send you a note of thanks for the performance that House of Lairds turned in on July 1st at our daughter's wedding. We have all seen bands that simply mail it in and go through their sets as if they just want it to be over with. The energy and enthusiasm that House of Lairds generated at our reception was simply infectious and you ignited the entire crowd into a wonderful frenzy. The Scots, Brits, Irish, Americans and others in our audience had the best time ever and couldn't tell us enough how much they loved your performance. But in addition to showing us that you are world-class entertainers I was also very touched by your humanity.
We are an extremely close family so in all candor it is sometimes difficult for me to have my daughter live across the pond where I don't get to visit with her as often as I can with her two sisters who live in the States. Her favorite song is Somewhere Over the Rainbow because it speaks to her in a very real way. One of the greatest surprises of the night was when we realized that you had taken the time to learn the song and played it for us for our dance. You took the time and effort to really emotionally connect with the bride and her father on her special day and we can't thank you enough for that.
We want to say a huge thank you to the House of Lairds for playing at our wedding! Never before have we heard a band with so much energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to keep the dance floor full all evening. We have had so many positive comments from guests on how much they enjoyed the music and for that we are extremely grateful. Such a pleasant experience and such a wonderful band. The House of Lairds really made our wedding truly special.
The House of Lairds were excellent. They did everything they said they would do. They got people dancing, and we all had a great time. She detests her arrogant jailer, even as he sparks a fierce, forbidden hunger in her soul. As Callum and Mhairi wage their passionate war of hearts, danger, treachery and desire circle closer and closer.
